Yellowstone

Last weekend we got the bright idea of going to Yellowstone for a day. It was a lot of driving, but it was so pretty with the leaves changing. We saw a bear (sorry no picture). And our camera died so all we had were the camera phones so they aren't the best pictures.

Elk at Mammoth Hot Springs. There were a couple of big bulls running around that had the rangers really stressed out because of it being the rutting season. They were trying to keep everyone a safe distance away. WOW that is one job I wouldn't want.
There were some really nice bulls out.
This coyote was just jogging along side the road. I could have leaned out the door and touched him.

We came home through the Teton National Park around by Jenny Lake and Jackson.

Willard Peak

Another ride, this time up to Willard Peak with Josh and Logan Francis. It was raining and cold, but it was gorgeous. You could see Huntsville, Ogden, Brigham all at the same time. At least the sun came out on our way back done. All the kids had so much fun. Including Scott and Josh!
